Spark
Precision cobot for benchtop work, R&D, and light manufacturing.
Spark is Standard Bots' smallest collaborative robot arm, built for benchtop assembly, labs, testing, and R&D work. It carries a 7 kg payload with a 950 mm reach and holds plus or minus 0.025 mm repeatability, precise enough for delicate, repetitive tasks in tight spaces. Spark runs on Standard Bots OS, a no-code interface, and on Standard Bots AI, which lets an operator describe a task in plain language and get a draft program to refine through chat. Standard Bots calls itself America's largest manufacturer of AI-native industrial robots, designed and assembled in the USA. Factronics USA supplies, installs, and supports Spark for production lines across Florida.

What Spark changes on your line
- Oversized gearing built for high-precision work in tight benchtop spaces.
- No-code Standard Bots OS, with AI-assisted programming through chat.
- Programs can be saved, reused, and adapted quickly across jobs.
- Runs locally offline once a program is deployed.
- Modbus TCP and EtherNet/IP connectivity for plant integration.
Spark key features
Programming & Control
- No-code Standard Bots OS
- Operators build and edit routines through a no-code interface, without a dedicated programmer.
- Standard Bots AI
- Describe a task in plain language and get a draft program to review and refine through chat.
- Reusable programs
- Programs can be saved, reused, and adapted across different jobs for fast reconfiguration between tasks.
- Offline operation
- Once a program is deployed, Spark can run locally without an active internet connection. A connection is only needed for software updates, remote support, or connected features.
Mechanical & Tooling
- High-precision gearing
- Spark uses oversized gearing built for high-precision work in tight spaces, sized for benchtop and lab cells.
- M8 8-pin tool connector
- Power and I/O are supplied directly through the tool flange for simplified integration.
- Broad gripper compatibility
- Compatible with leading two-finger, three-finger, and suction grippers.
Integration & Support
- Plant connectivity
- Connects to existing plant equipment and PLCs using Modbus TCP or EtherNet/IP.
- PoE at the wrist
- A Power-over-Ethernet connection at the wrist simplifies cabling for wrist-mounted cameras and tooling.
- US design and support
- Standard Bots designs and assembles Spark in the USA and backs it with US-based application engineers for training and support.
- Local Florida support
- Factronics USA supplies, installs, and supports Spark for production lines across Florida.
